In Me A Clean Heart
"Truly
God is good to Israel, even as to such as are of a clean heart."
Ps 73.
[Psa
24:3-6] Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his
holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up
his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from
the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is the
generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah."
Now
is the time for us to seek the face of God as never before. The Father is
calling for us to look deep within our hearts by the hand of the Holy Spirit and
allow Him to purge us unto holiness. If we say that we have no sin, we live a
lie and the judgment will be greater. If we will allow the Spirit of the Lord to
have His complete will in our lives He will purify us as gold, sanctifying us in
His holiness.
Just
as David cried out to the Lord, Father is seeking those who will enter into His
presence with a pure heart and undefiled mind. We must cast aside our flesh,
setting our thoughts upon the perfect and complete will of the Lord. We must
call unto the Lord saying, "Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy
loving kindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my
transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my
sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Against
thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou
mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou Judgest.
Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. Behold,
thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make
me to know wisdom. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I
shall be whiter than snow. Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones
which thou hast broken may rejoice. Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all
mine iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit
within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from
me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free
spirit." Ps 51 1-12
Our
hearts must cry out to the Lord for His change. "Then will I (we) teach
transgressors thy (His) ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee(Him). Psa
51:13] For the Lord to use us to bring the Bride to perfection we must allow the
Spirit of God to cleanse us. No one is exempt from this time of change and
re-creation. It is necessary so that we may come to the unity of the faith. With
this unity will come forth dunamus power that will manifest the Glory of the
Lord.
The
Father is giving ample time for us to choose to receive correction before the
Spirit brings the FIRE. [1 Cor 11:31-32] "For if we would judge ourselves,
we should not be judged. But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord,
that we should not be condemned with the world." We have been given
spiritual eyes to see, if we will receive it. This change can only be
accomplished spiritually not with judgment of the outside appearance, but by
looking at the heart within. It is not meant to bring condemnation, but instead
it will give life to those who will receive it.
What
the Spirit means by judging ourselves is to scrutinize, investigate, and
examine. Moreover the original translation continues to describe judge as to
question (the Lord) ask, search, and determine. Using David as an example once
again, He cried, [Psa 26:1-2] "Judge me, O Lord; for I have walked in mine
integrity: I have trusted also in the Lord; therefore I shall not slide. Examine
me, O Lord, and prove me; try my reins and my heart." David knew the power
and strength that came from being tried and tested. We must ask the Lord to test
our reins (REINS, In Scripture, the inward parts; the heart, or seat of the
affections and passions.)and our hearts.
For
us to fully receive the grace and presence of God we must first examine
ourselves. To seek the Lord with a hypocritical heart will cause us fall into
the danger of damnation.1 Cor 11:28-32, "But let a man examine himself, and
so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. For he that eateth and
drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning
the Lord's body. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that
bread, and drink of that cup. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth
and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. For this
cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. For if we would judge
ourselves, we should not be judged. But when we are judged, we are chastened of
the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world." This scripture
does not only apply to Communion in the natural, but also to a "spiritual
communion" with the Lord. To receive of His Body and Spirit we must examine
our hearts, our motives and ourselves.
Many
are weak and sickly among us because they have failed to properly discern the
Body of Christ. This applies to both the spiritual and the natural. The accuser
of the brethren works to cause division and discord. We are called to unity in
the Body, without wrinkle, spot, or blemish. If we pass judgment upon others and
have not removed the beam out of our own eye, we are guilty and will receive the
greater damnation. There is but one judge and He has reserved this right for the
final day. Until then we must use the Spirit of God to look at our own hearts,
asking for all wickness to be purged.
The
importance of our heart condition cannot be understated. To truly come into the
presence of the most Holy God we must first allow the Lord to wrap us in His
robe of righteousness. To be forgiven, we must first forgive, this is a key
principal of Kingdom living. "Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the
faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ
is in you, except ye be reprobates?" [2 Cor 13:5] Without the redemption of
Jesus Christ we are nothing, unable to enter into the presence of the most Holy
God. Notice it says to "examine yourselves", not others. To pass
condemnation upon others brings forth and equal dose of bondage to ourselves.
There is no such "office" in the Kingdom of God as a "fruit
inspector". The only reason we are given Matt 7:16, is so we may
"know" the brethren. Our fruit should be openly apparent for all to
see.
We
must search our hearts, allowing the Spirit of the Lord to prune our trees so we
may bring forth greater fruit. Following is a list of "heart
conditions" according to the word. Where does your heart fit? Are there
still hidden areas that need to be exposed or are you standing without covering
before the throne of God. The Lord wants us to approach the throne with
childlike innocence, allowing Him to direct our every step. He desires us to
worship him with a rejoicing and merry heart. Stand before Him with a pure and
clean heart. Allowing the Spirit of the Lord to circumcise our willing hearts.
Seeking Him and all His wisdom to produce a servants heart. Receiving from Him a
courageous and perfect heart, all to glorify Him.

When
you open your heart to the Spirit of the Lord, do you find you are of a fearful,
failing, wicked, evil, obstinate, naughty, grieved, hardened, sorrowful, hot
deceived, plagued or discouraged heart. Do not be discouraged, the Lord our God
is gracious and merciful unto those who seek His perfect will. Recognition is
the first step to freedom. There is hope for those who love the Lord, for in
your weakness He is strong. Rend your heart and not your garment, as the Spirit
of the Lord brings Living Water to heal your thirsty land. There is no one who
has gone too far, nor been so defiled that the Lord cannot heal them. I know
first hand the depth of despair and destruction. Our God is the God of Miracles!
He can make the most wonderful Rainbow appear after the worst storms of life.
The
Lord does desire His people to be of a perfect heart. There are many blessings
promised to those who are of a perfect heart. So often we feel this is
unattainable because we use mans standards to measure our self worth. Perfect in
the best definition means: PER'FECT, a. [L. perfectus, perficio, to complete;
per and facio, to do or make through, to carry to the end.] 1. Finished;
complete; consummate; not defective; having all that is requisite to its nature
and kind; as a perfect statue; a perfect likeness; a perfect work; a perfect
system. 2. Fully informed; completely skilled; as men perfect in the use of
arms; perfect in discipline. 3. Complete in moral excellencies. Be ye therefore
perfect, even as your Father who is in heaven is perfect. Matt.5. 4. Manifesting
perfection. "My strength is made perfect in weakness. 2 Cor.12."
If
it were impossible to attain biblical perfection according to Gods standards the
Word would not tell us to be perfect even as our Father is perfect. The Father
is in the process of perfecting (maturing) His true servants so they may allow
His light to shine to the whole world. Let us not look at each other as the Lord
brings the defects to the surface to purge our impurities. Instead let us look
upward, anticipating the glorious changes that are coming upon the Bride.
Father,
I pray we all may come to the unity of the faith bringing glory unto you. I
stand in the gap, interceding for all who are wounded, in bondage, and crying
out to you. Specifically those who have become ensnared by the pain and torment
of religiosity and those who have been mortally wounded by it. Let the golden
oil flow to the nations. I thank you for allowing this prodigal to return home.
I ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, my savior, my commander, my
friend.

[Joel
2:11-18] And the Lord shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is
very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the Lord is
great and very terrible; and who can abide it? Therefore also now, saith the
Lord, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with
weeping, and with mourning: And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn
unto the Lord your God: ..... Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a
solemn assembly: Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the
elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom
go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet. Let the priests, the
ministers of the Lord, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say,
Spare thy people, O Lord, and give not thine heritage to reproach...."
